Rob, that build slowed down due to family circumstances.
I wish I could give you actual results but I can't at this time.

After talking with the wife and getting her "must haves," I'm looking more toward the 21 Bayou. Can someone tell me what the ride is like? The builds for the 21 Bayou on here are unfinished, so I haven't been able to get an idea of the look/ride of this particular boat.

The more I think about it and follow others' builds, the more resolved I am. There's got to be an awesome feeling seeing what many hours and a lot of work produces in the finished product. Not to mention, getting to use it over and over again!

I've built my own and I've followed comments from other builders and the unanimous reaction is, this is one of the coolest things you can do and very rewarding. I would do it again........just like Marc told me on the first day.

the bonefish looks nice. There are videos on Youtube from one of Marc's first time buiders, think his name is Rob White. he did about 60 videos in high speed of his build. very inspiring. Take a look for it under envi boats on youtube.
I'd build the biggest boat you can comfortably build in the garage and still get around it.I did the 20 ft and I have 21 feet in my garage. tight but its getting done.Im building bow to the front wall of the garage. don't know if I would have done that again, but ask marc when the time comes.
Hope to see you building soon.

Thanks, ksmoravek! Really looking forward to getting things in order so I can get my build going. Realistically, I'm probably looking at next summer, but who knows! If we can get in a house by the first of the year, I may be able to get started late winter, early spring! We have fairly mild winters, so I could get a lot done by the time it gets warm enough to start working the fiberglass. I've been looking at the builds all your guys have on here. Great looking boats!

Marc, I'm pretty sure I want to go with the 19 Bonefish. I really think that will be the all-around boat for us in the intracoastal, bay, and freshwater rivers near where we live. It would be my wife and me most all the time, but we want something big enough to take a couple friends for a day on the sandbar, too. Plus, I don't want to grab too big of a bite for my first boat! Lol

Have you decided which boat you are going to take on?

Welcome to the show! I've been at this for about 8 months now, having a ball. You signed up with the right guy. Marc is tireless and a great mentor/tormentor. Look forward to seeing your boat.
