Should work but we would need to spend time together on potential weight and balance scenarios. Did you check out our Facebook page where a gentleman in Texas is building an aluminum catamaran we designed?

New guy here, live in the spacecoast fl area.
Thinking about building a 22 or a 25 offshore, probably be 8-10 months before I pull the trigger.
my main question is it possible to build out of aluminum instead of plywood?

Im A certified welder been fabricationg my whole life. Currently build jet turbine components but, My last job was building aluminum airboats (i know thats not really comparable to an offshore boat but im use to making aluminum plate do what I need it to)
my thoughts were to use the jig and build everything the same just with aluminum, use 1/4" and 3/16 on the sides.
any thoughts?
